Inspiration for the aspiring woman cyclist

The bicycle has been credited with being one of the greatest tools to women's liberation in history because it allowed women greater mobility. But in more recent history, women are an under-represented population of cyclists. But recently there is a renewed interest in cycling by women. This short film illustrates the revival as these women share their stories of why they started riding and why they will continue to ride.

  1. It's so great to listen to these women talk about bicycling as a way to supplement their transportation needs. I just recently biked 17 miles with my family and we had such a good time! I'm going to start riding my bike more, not just for weekend recreation, but as a way to get where I need to go while being kinder to the environment.

  2. Careful...it's addictive. You might end up selling a car.
